The honey jar is a tried and true sweetening spell that does just that, "sweetens" someone up to you. In traditional hoodoo and conjure most spells are worked inside of a container or jar. To sweeten someone is another way of saying you want someone to like you, love you, be kind to you, or favor you.
Most honey jars include a petition, names, dates of birth, photos, oils, herbs, personal concerns, and a few other ingredients to make the jar more effective. Depending on what or who the jar is for the ingredients will vary to fit the intention. Personal items are recommended to be added once you receive your jar but are not required.
